Off The Record was founded in early 2011 by a fresh, young and forward thinking music company; Goodbye Dinosaur. Off The Record is a company dedicated to finding the hottest up & coming new artists around Australia and providing them with alternative avenues to getting exposure.

OTR does a range of compilation CD’s that are distributed through all the major street press publications and music magazines (Drum Media, Inpress, Time Off, YEN, Waves and Blunt Magazine) around the country and we also handle licensing synchronization for film, TV, radio etc.



OTR also is responsible for DVD productions that are showcased through Blunt Magazine, YEN and various events. Through these mediums, each release distributes between 20,000 and 27,000 copies throughout the country.



Due to our vast distribution network and variety of compilation CD’s and DVD’s, OTR have worked with some of Australia’s (and the worlds) hottest acts. Some artists include; Lisa Mitchell, Parkway Drive, Sticky Fingers, Northlane, Abbe May, Asta, Kingswood, I Killed The Prom Queen, Buried in Verona, Closure in Moscow, British India, DZ Deathrays, Bring Me The Horizon (USA), Every Time I Die (USA), The Ghost Inside (USA) and Funeral For a Friend (UK) to name a few.



To date OTR has released over 77 Compilations and a lot of artists have had great feedback and success; seeing them secure management, gain more fans, more shows and helped them network with other artists appearing on the CD as well.



Off The Record also boasts an impressive publicity arm that has some of Austraiias most talented music industry professionals at the reins.
