Tranquil Artillery was formed back in 2001 by a few close mates on Phillip Island Victoria.
As musical interests between the group became more focused on hip hop, Drummer Lorne and guitarist Breeze found themselves collaborating with aspiring emcee’s Down-pat, P-Link and J-mac. The outcome was a funky home grown sound which everyone agreed was worth building on , so we pulled together and pretty quickly had a few tracks to put to our name.
Word spread rapidly around the Island (as usual) and before long we were rocking local bars and pubs with our fresh live set.

As the years past our sound matured and the group branched out further into the Australian Hip Hop scene, supporting some of the following big names - TZU, Lyrical Commission, Brad Strut, Bliss n Eso, The Winnie Coopers and True Live. These shows gave us a good boost in motivation and experience to continue pushing forward and growing as a band. Over recent years all members have relocated to Melbourne and we have been doing regular gigs around town. Tranquil Artillery has recently held down a residency at famous Melbourne music venue (The Evelyn), doing shows along side other up and coming artists including - Mantra, 360 and Pez, 1/6, Illy and more. Now finally on the verge of finishing some recording, Tranquil Artillery is prepared to move onward and upward in the ever growing Aussie Hip Hop scene.........
