State of Mine is the long awaited solo E.P from Melbourne MC/Producer Grinny.
A journey into the mind of a contemporary multi instrumentalist that found himself thrust into the world of hip hop over ten years ago, State of Mine is the result of over 25 years of music distilled into 5 tracks that will leave you pondering, and at the same time uplifted through cinematic and rich musical tapestries.

The first release major relase from Rawlab Entertainment for 2014, it features the soulful and mesmering vocals of Nadene Satch, turntablism from Melbourne stalwart DJ Rellik and a remix of “The Twoks” single “Fix It”.

State of Mine is more than 5 individual tracks, the whole is more than the sum of its parts.A lesson in introspection juxtaposed against the desire to scream “Here i am”, there is a balanced contrast in lyrical content, flow and tone set amongst a series of beats that showcase Grinnyʼs muscial abilities.
